EYELID AESTHETICS (BLEFAROPLASTY)
With age, wrinkles and sagging of the upper eyelid skin and bags under the eyes occur. This causes the person to look tired and old.
The process of removing sagging skin and removing fat bags from the lower and upper eyelids is called blepharoplasty.
Blepharoplasty surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia. General anesthesia is preferred if the patient does not want local anesthesia or if additional operations are to be performed in the same session. The operation takes about an hour for both eyelids, and the patient can return home immediately after the operation.
